Olmo

Piazza Olmo is the Crossroad of the island, it was the meeting point for population of the rural areas and it is still a stopping place for processions. From the crossroad of St. Giacomo, facing church of the same name, the roads forks and leads to the rural settlement, la Starza. The main road continues after Chiaia beach descent past fewer houses and the church of St. Antonio Abate. In S. Giacomo there is Eldorado garden where Elsa Morante wrote the novel Arturo’s island.
